Hey everyone! I’ve noticed since I started cooking more for myself (let me just say I’ve made many new recipes and tried many new fruits and vegetables), but the only thing I’ve been craving are the “higher-calorie” foods, like cheese, mac and cheese, puff pastry for savory and sweet options, cookies, and now I just had some tea and had the urge to add milk and sugar.

It’s been a great change to eat more fruits and vegetables and I’ve had a lot of “firsts” in my life like eating salad and different types of beans and legumes.

But I’ve just noticed this increased desire for those “high-reward foods” that make me feel happy and content, but I feel like I’m undoing all of the good I did by eating those healthy foods.

Does anyone else have those cravings? How do you deal with them? I’m currently a housewife, so I have a lot of time for cooking and my only job is to prepare myself for what I have to do in the future to start a career and get a better job.
