Why is everyone so obsessed with Mandarin on this chamber?

Honestly, I think certain type of white people are obsessed with Mandarin because it sounds exotic and impressive them to say it and have it on their resume or whatever. <br><br>I can’t think of any other reason, because Spanish is far more useful in any situation and Japanese and Korean are far more interesting to learn.
