I joined this sub over 7 months ago. I used to be a regular on chambers and followed tons of subs. I stopped when I found out the platform was nuking comments and blocking users over political stances that weren't the "chambers stance".

I was completely ignorant to men's rights, and I just didn't know if this sub was going to be a bunch of misogynistic jerks or not. Even though I liked Trump and Lean right and figured I'd be better off here than r/politics as a male republican.

I think I was 14 or 15 when I made my chambers account. I didn't know there was such a thing as feminism or that it even mattered. Now I'm 27 and I'm just now figuring out this isn't the world I thought it was growing up.

The sub showed me new information, things that I had never thought of before, and really opened my eyes to what it actually means to be a man in the modern world.

I was married for 4 years. It didn't end well. I'm currently seeing someone (a woman) and things are, well, pretty good. I'm not a traditional MGTOW, but I am going my own way. I've been reading a lot of books recommended by folks on here, I'm bettering myself as a person and really believing in myself and knowing what I want and where I want to go.

I know there are a lot of negative stories in this sub. Won't lie there are a lot of negative things in this world. But I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here. Thank you for helping me better myself and showing me the truth as to what it means to be a man in this modern world. Thank you to everyone here and I wish you all well on your own paths.
