This was an incredibly inspiring chamber, and I decided to go for minimalism!

I read so many stories on here, and based on what I read this was the perfect way to live. I started based on the idea of not wanting to live in a small, dirty apartment after this shit is over. It was depressing to not want to be in my own home.

So, I decided I would clean the house, get rid of unnecessary items, and buy a couple nice things to really make it a home.

This morning, I woke up, got out of bed, and started cleaning. I did a little bit of the kitchen and it started to look nice, but then I lost steam and went back to bed. I eventually got up, and went back to work, but it was a pain. I realized I was trying to work on too much at once.

I have a single closet for my bedroom. There are a few clothes on the floor, and some folded up clothes on the shelf. I decided to work on that first. It’s a four foot long closet so it wasn’t too bad. I was finishing putting everything back in, and this chamber was the first thing that came to mind. It looks really clean and I’ve never been this happy with the way my room looked. I did it.

I usually laugh at people saying, “Well, it’s about the journey, not the destination,” but this time it really was. When I started, I had anxiety thinking about how I’m going to do this. When it was finished, I was so proud. It was just the closet, but it was so nice to have something so clean and well put together.

I hope the rest of my journey goes like this. I’m really happy. Good night guys, and I’ll keep you posted.
