I'm 30 years old. I'm a manager at a large tech company. I've always been genuinely very good at my job. I'm talented at what I do. My work is always of good quality and I put a lot of effort into what I do. I'm also good with people, both colleagues and clients. I really want to be the CEO of my company.

I've discussed this with my boss, and he said it's completely within the realm of possibilities. It would require me to spend the next 10-20 years putting my work above everything else in my life.

I want to be the CEO, but I really don't want to give up my free time for that. I want to be able to travel, have a lovely house, spend time with my friends and family, but I also really want to be the CEO.

How can I be the CEO without sacrificing my work and family life?
