Good book recommendations?

I'm trying to break down some tropes and subvert some expectations by looking into different worldbuilding 'styles' in books, but I'm also just looking for a nice read. Any suggestions?<br><br>I'm open to anything, I usually like fantasy but I've never really looked into sci-fi, so I'm open to that. Go wild.
