How would you redo the USA if you could?

How would you change the country, constitution, laws, state and federal structure, or anything else? What would you change about the country? Why would you make those changes? You can be as realistic or unrealistic as you want.<br><br><br>I'll go first. I would redo all the states into everything east of the Mississippi and everything west of the Mississippi. You could call them East Mass and West Mass. East Mass would be the liberal side of the country and West Mass would be the conservative side. East mass would have the Atlantic coast, while West Mass would have the Pacific coast. You could redo the number of representatives according to the population of the new states, and we could do the same with the electoral college votes for the two states. You could redo the capital to be somewhere in the middle, and East Mass and West Mass could work together on things like the military, trade, commerce, science, and education. East Mass could have one set of laws for things that require laws, such as car laws, crime laws, and business laws, and West Mass could do the same, with a different set of laws. Or you could have one set of laws for both states.<br><br>East Mass could have things like high speed rail, CHIP, welfare, Medicare for All, blue laws, and other policies. They could have high taxes and a lack of corporate loopholes, deductions, and tax breaks. They could have everything the Democrats want.<br><br>West Mass could have things like CHIP and welfare, and they could have blue laws, and other policies. They could have low taxes and a lot of corporate loopholes, deductions, and tax breaks.
