If your partners and friends with kids don’t respect you’re choice to be child free, it’s time to find a new partner and friends

I have been no contact with my family for over 20 years and I’m better off for it. I have a couple of friends and new partner who respect my choice to never have children. <br><br>My ex tried to have a child with me and I went through years of IVF. I had a miscarriage and she left me for some other guy and had a kid with him.<br><br>My family abused me as a child so that’s the main reason I never wanted children. I went through years of therapy and counseling to get over it.<br><br>I have seen people post on here about being childfree, but their friends and partners have kids and they don’t respect their partners choice.<br><br>If your friends and partner don’t respect you’re choice and try to convince you to have children than you need to find new friends and a new partner.
