So I got a mew job in February, temp position, and I was getting all self-conscious about my *(!) body so I started going to the gym. That was February. I’m 3.5 months in so far and having lost almost 40 lbs I saw that I needed to meal prep to really meet my goals.

I went and bought some containers, temped them out, and was so excited to prep my meals. I prepped 8 meals, each containing chicken and rice, and having lost all that weight I should be able to eat another 1,000 calories a day.

I am so disappointed and sad and overwhelmed and disappointed. After that 2.5 hours I only had enough to eat for 3(!) days. I was so excited, and so let down.

Any tips on how to make it easier/faster/cheaper and healthier? I don’t mind spending a bit of time on the weekends doing this as it truly saves me time during the week. I just don’t know if I can keep up with this?(!)

Tia!

**TL;DR:** First meal prep ever. Disappointed that it’s not faster/cheaper/healthier. Any tips?
