So I seen a lot of questions about like how big a throne room needs to be to not hear someone on the toilet. Or how big of an army you would need to have 1 person man every mile of a 1000 mile wall. Or how much food a dragon would need to stay alive.

Asking realistic questions like that I feel makes world building more realistic. Not saying everything should be realistic but I feel like having a good idea of how big something would need to be to function or how much it would cost to feed something is important. Like say how many people would it take to feed a dragon? How many people would that leave to defend a city? How many people would be left over to do other things like farm or blacksmith?

Anyways just curious on how people handle questions like this.
