AITA for not telling anyone I bought the winning car?

I recently won (well more like got second place) a model car show because of my wife.<br><br>She creates custom diecast model cars. While she had gone for a walk with her dog she had left some of her completed models on the kitchen table. I had just finished cleaning them and was putting them back on her desk in our office. One of my friends had called me up and said there was a model car show in our town. He and a few other people were going and said I should join since my wife creates them. Since she was gone I figured it was a good opportunity and decided to enter the show. I grabbed three of her models and headed over to the show. I met up with my friend and I told him why I had brought my wife’s models. He said “well your name will be the one on the trophy so don’t worry about it.” So I entered and figured I’d just have fun.<br><br>The next day I got a call from the people hosting the show. They said that two of my models were in the top 3, one got third place and the other got second place. I was a bit surprised but happy for my wife. I decided to tell her the news but I figured it would be a funny if I told her I cheated. I told her that I had entered her models into a model car show. I told/showed her the models that placed. When she asked how I knew about the show I didn’t answer. Instead I said “well two of your models placed but I’m kind of the AH because my friends model won first place.” She asked me about my friends model and I said “you did a great job on it.” She got mad at me and yelled at me for making light of the situation, even though she was laughing, and said I should tell them the truth since she did all the work. I said okay but she said I should tell them that the actual winner is in the garage.<br><br>I still haven’t told them and I plan to surprise them by bringing my wife to the next show.
