* disinfect student’s water bottle when they bring it in the classroom
* mouse for a shared computer
* headphones
* pencil sharpener
* paint
* classroom supplies that need to be disinfected 3 times before children can use it
* every time a student uses the whiteboard
* disinfect an entire desk if a student used a pencil
* anything else that makes you scratch your head
* how does your school handle the 5 minute disinfecting rule?
* in general, what is your most commonly disinfecting surface?

*edit: I understand the intent of the 5 minute disinfecting rule. I know that I can’t always disinfect every second. And that I don’t have to disinfect the mouse every 5 minutes or the desk every time a student uses a pencil. But the school administration expects me to follow the rules as closely as possible and I am just interested in hearing others’ thoughts on the issue. I think that’s a good idea to hand the bottle of disinfectant to the students to disinfect their desks. I also like the idea of disinfecting at the end of each lesson. I can’t disinfect every surface every 5 minutes for sure. But I can probably disinfect all the surfaces used at the end of each lesson. Thank you for all the comments and suggestions.
