I think being lonely is the same for everyone at the end of the day. Your story is valid

I’m a graduate student who’s 27 years old. I have friends but it’s conditional. Work, social media, family, money, romantic relationships, bullying, imposter syndrome, self-doubt, anxiety, depression, health, and happiness. There’s this sense of loneliness in all of these. There’s always a nagging sense of loneliness. There’s so many societal expectations. I feel like at the end of the day everyone has a story, everyone has something, and everyone also has this common thread of loneliness. It’s just the way it is.

“There is no pain comparable to that of having shed many tears over someone who has made you shed no tears at all.”

Unknown
