What if I told you I can get you an insane productivity ratio: 1 hour of work + 1 hour of sleep === 2 hours of PRODUCTION. Don't believe me? I'll prove it.

# Why it works

A lot of people here talk about the importance of sleep and I can't agree more. The only problem is that it takes time. What if I told you there is a way to sleep your way to productivity? Why not spend your day working an hour then sleeping an hour, and get the benefits of 2 hours of work? What used to take 8 hours now takes 16. I know what you are thinking: "not possible." I'll show you that it is.

# Why people don't know about it

The reason people don't know about it is because it requires a perfect dedication to the schedule. If you miss your sleep you'll lose the benefit. This is why it is so hard to convince anyone to try it. Some will say, "Once you get into the habit you won't miss it," but that is just not true for most of us. I can't count the number of failures that have led me to this post.

What gets in the way most is the travel. What if you are traveling to see your family for the holidays? It's just not a practical solution if you are going to lose your benefits every time you have a change in your schedule.

I've been experimenting with this for months and have yet to find a solution to the travel issue. Am I the only one who hasn't figured it out? If you have, PLEASE let me know in your comments so we can all benefit.

# Why it won't work for you

You may think that this can't be true, and you are right. It isn't true for you. You're not the target audience for this post. The target audience is the 1% that can stick with it. Even if it doesn't work for you, it can work for someone else. Share it if you think it might help someone you know.

# How it works

The concept is simple. Work an hour, sleep an hour. When I say sleep, I mean real sleep. Don't close your eyes and rest on the couch, that is not the same as sleep. If you can do it then you will feel like you have superpowers.

# How to make it work for you

I'm sure someone out there must have solved the travel problem, so the only thing that might hold you back is your body's ability to adapt. The best way to do that is to shock it. I'm sure there are other methods, but I don't know them.

If you are not willing to try it for at least 2 weeks then don't bother. It isn't fair to yourself if you are not going to put in 100% dedication.

Once you complete the first 2 weeks, you can start to feel the benefits of this method. You might be able to get away with a few missed sleeps, but you'll lose the benefits so why even bother? Remember that you are doing this to be a 2xer. If you're just trying to get an extra hour a day then that isn't what this post is about.

# Conclusion

If you are one of the select few that can stick to this schedule you will feel like a superhuman. If you can't then I guess you're just a human. Remember that even though it might not work for you, it could work for someone you know. If you know someone who might be interested then please share this post with them.

# tl;dr: work an hour then sleep an hour. After 2 weeks you'll be a 2xer.

# edit: I think I see a recurring pattern in the comments. I just want to clarify that I am totally being sarcastic. This was meant to be a joke. I know it isn't actually a good idea.
