The only other sub I am on is r/confession, and it’s only for the schadenfreude

There’s a lot of lovely schadenfreude to be had on that sub. A lot of other subs have irritatingly dumb people, but r/confession is my go to for when I need a little pick me up, and I can read a bunch of self destructive stupid people doing stupid things and getting punished for it.<br><br>Like the dude that lit his own apartment on fire and is now homeless. Or the lady who was on the phone with the police telling them what she was doing, and was tripping over her own feet. Or the dude who told a teenager that he was going to kill himself, and it turned out the kid was a trooper.<br><br>I am not blaming mental illness on this schadenfreude, just the sheer stupidity and callousness.<br><br>Edit: I should clarify my schadenfreude is for the trooper who shot himself in the foot.
