CMV: Republicans are killing themselves with abortion and the Democrats are in the driver's seat

I'm a disaffected democrat in the first place, but I think that the Republicans are in a very precarious position after the Dobbs decision. Republicans have the right to life movement in their corner and no matter how much Republicans try to distance themselves from it, Democrats will always make sure that voters see that party as being against a woman's right to determine her own body in the United States.<br><br>This will lead to more and more party-affiliated Republicans to turn in their card and register as an independent, and more likely than not, vote Democrat.<br><br>Others have already spoken about it, but the "Nick Fuentes" movement that is anti-Trumper, anti-Democrat, and anti-women is going to eat into Republican support in the next election. The Nick chads are going to stay home and that's not good for the Republicans.<br><br>The Dobbs decision also caused a massive turnout of women and younger voters in the last election. That is not going to change, and younger people are more likely to vote Democrat anyway. Republicans are no where near as appealing to younger voters as Democrats are.<br><br>This Dobbs decision is just a fork in the knife, Republicans are done, and the Democrats are ready to execute their agenda in full force. The Republicans are in a huge period of disarray in the wake of Trump's loss and Dobbs decision, and they are going to have a very hard time winning any national election going forward.<br><br>**Edit:** thanks for the awards, not going to be changing my view today, but I really appreciate it.
