Apple Support was used to spy on me

So this is a rather long story. I am a computer science major, I do most of my work outside of uni work on my MacBook which I got back in 2018. The other day (Monday), while trying to work on a coding project, I thought I had found a really simple, intuitive way of doing what I needed to do. I decided it was something other students would benefit from so I decided to make a video on it. I recorded the video, and planned to record the voiceover for it the next day after getting a good night's sleep, as I'm a night owl and tend to get salty at night. I woke up the next day, and prepared to do the voiceover. I go check my laptop, and lo and behold, all the files that I recorded are completely gone. I thought, that sucks. But I really don't want to redo it so I decided to contact Apple Support, as I have AppleCare (unfortunately extended once) on my laptop. I go to make an Apple Support call, give them my apple ID, serial number, etc. The guy on the call was very nice, and while my issue isn't really an issue they can help me with, he was trying to help me. I told him my problem. He tried to trouble shoot it, and we thought it may have been that I accidentally deleted it and my trash bin was empty. I was explaining to him how I wanted to record a tutorial video on something. The Apple employee was very excited about this, and offered to give me a free year long subscription to Final Cut Pro X, which is Apple's premium video editing software, which was very nice of him, I thought it was great customer service at first glance. He sent me a link, and I signed into my apple ID, and got the license. Fast forward 2 days (today) when I sat down after dinner to do the voiceover, and wanted to record some additional footage, and while I still had my screen recording on, opened up Final Cut to do a quick edit of the footage I had recorded, just to see what it was like. I go on, and lo and behold, all the footage that I had recorded the other night, and all the footage I had recorded just then was in Final Cut Pro X. I thought that was strange, I don't remember importing it. The filename was also something like "ScreenRecording2054" or something like that, no typing delay either. I thought that was strange, but maybe it was a feature or something, I had never used Final Cut Pro before. Then, I go look at the filename of the two screenrecordings, and I see they had completely different filenames. The first one had a filename like "ScreenRecording2030" or something like that, while the one I recorded had a completely different filename, something like "ScreenRecording2055". The numbers being completely different, and thought that was very strange, and I realized that while my screen recording was ongoing, and I opened up Final Cut Pro, they had access to all my screen recordings. Then I remembered how the Apple employee told me to make an unlisted video of my tutorial, I assume so they could use it. Then I thought back to how he told me to make a video, and how he was so excited about it. I remember telling him about what I wanted to record, and he tried to steer me away from that topic.

I think Apple Support was used to spy on me. When I asked him about this WFH stuff, he said some cryptic shit like "Well, you know how big tech companies are, there are a lot of people that see your information", as if the government works with big tech companies to spy on people, and so they could easily access that data without consent WFH. It just doesn't add up. I think that, while I was on the call, all my data was being harvested, and while I was recording the screen recording after, it was still uploading to the cloud so that they could access it again. The fact that it auto-imported into Final Cut Pro, a software I have never used, and the fact that my screen recording was still ongoing when I opened it, and I didn't import any footage, leads me to believe they had remote access to my laptop.

Edit: This is my first time posting on this sub, please let me know if there's anything I can do better.

Edit 2: For those of you saying "you used the built in screenrecorder, and you recorded while opening up Final Cut Pro, of course it's going to import it." That's not true. When I record multiple recordings, and I go into iMovie, it doesn't import every recording. It imports the last one. Maybe it's a feature on final cut pro, I don't know, but the filename being completely different is what got me.

Edit 3: I'm not sure what to believe. I think at the very least the call was used as a means to get me to use a piece of software that allows them to access my information, which is what many of you have been saying. I think what was originally happening, before I decided to make a video of something completely innocent, is what many of you are saying, that my laptop was used to spy on someone else, and that the topic I wanted to record a video of would blow the whole thing wide open. I think what happened after, was that the apple employee tried to steer me away from making that video, and when I wouldn't WFH, they sent me Final Cut Pro X so they would have access to my laptop, in case I decided to make the video on that topic anyway, so they could use the information as evidence of me talking about it, and that they can take action against me. The reason I believe they would rather me not make the video, is that the topic is so mundane and seemingly useless, that if I blow it out of proportion, no one will believe me, and they'll be able to cover it up more easily.

I'm not sure if this is the government or not, but I'm 100% sure something shady is going on here.
