Frustrated with the stereotype that frugal people are unhygienic or dirty

When I first began looking into frugality, I encountered some things like the following: — A person smeared their used deodorant on the soda can their cat was using as a water bowl to keep ants and other bugs away. — A woman used a big plastic container as a potty after lights went out (I get the dangers of going outside for the bathroom but couldn’t she at least dump it down the toilet?) — A woman said she only washes towels and bedding when she smells them. So it has to actually — be — dirty. — A guy said he goes a long time without washing his bedding if he’s single. — A person said the following: — “My girlfriend has a habit of peeing in the soda bottles and — then — leaving them under the bed. Then the cat will grab the empty soda bottles — and — toss them all over the house and knock bottles over and spill the piss everywhere. — I’ve — asked her multiple times to stop doing it because it makes the house smell like piss — and — it’s gross. But she continues to do it anyway.” — A woman — said — that she pees in a cup and pours it down the sink if the power is out — and — everyone is — sleeping.

Also, I’ve heard stories about Hoarders, and while everyone knows that Hoarders are dirty, the stereotype that frugal people are dirty is also — out — there.
