My top 5 tips

This is my top 5 tips, these tips may or may not work for you depending on where you live and the store’s security. I live in a very small town with 2 shops so its not hard to lift.
I’m not responsible for anything you do with this information!

1. Wear oversized clothing, I like to wear a baggy hoodie and leggings, I like hoodies cause you can pull the hood up and it makes it harder to see you on cctv. Having oversized clothing allows you to hide stuff in your clothes and makes it less noticeable. If you are going to lift in your bra make sure you are wearing a baggy top or sweater so if you run into a shop employee they won’t see the stuff in your bra

2. Make sure you know the store’s cameras, where they are placed and if they are fake. A lot of stores have these fake cameras that look like real cameras but are fake. So know the store, if you want to lift in a certain store, visit that store, wander around and take note of any cameras. Also know where the employees are placed, like the cashiers and stock room people, where they spend their time, this can help you know where to lift and where not to lift, if you want to lift something and there’s an employee placed there, you could go to a different area of the store and lift there, you then go back to where you want to get the item you want, grab it and put it in your bag or wherever you are hiding the items and then you walk out, you do all of this while keeping an eye on the employee.

3. Make sure you keep an eye on the employees, they are the people most likely to catch you, know where they are placed as I said in tip 2. But also keep an eye on them, if you see them staring at you, you need to leave. If you lift at night when there are less employees you should be fine but if you lift in the day, you need to be more cautious, I lift in the mornings so there are only 2 employees, the stockroom guy and the cashier, I know them so they don’t bother me but if I didn’t know them I wouldn’t be comfortable lifting, so maybe get to know the employees or shop lift at night when there are less employees. You could also distract an employee if you want to lift something in their section, you could ask the employee a question, then when they are talking to you, you could put the item in your bag, the only thing with this is if the employee looks at the security footage, they will see you talking to them and then taking an item, and they may remember you, so if you do this, you need to be careful.

4. Make sure you know the aisles, know where everything is placed, not just so you can lift but also so you know where to run if you get caught, I use this technique where I pretend to be looking for something, so I will look at the product on the shelf, then I will look around trying to find more items like that, I do this so I can see the surrounding cameras and employees, I also do this to make it look like I’m not trying to steal, I will sometimes ask an employee where an item is placed, I do this so they don’t think I’m trying to steal, they will think I’m asking them because I want to buy the item but in reality I’m just asking them so when I walk out with the item, they won’t think anything of it.

5. Don’t draw attention to yourself, if you run into an employee in the store, just say hi, don’t make it awkward, if you run into an employee you know, don’t make it weird, if you see them in the store, don’t run away, just walk past them, don’t try to avoid them, if you try to avoid them they could get suspicious, so just say hi, talk to them for a little bit and go on your way, don’t run down the aisle, if you need to get to the other side of the store, just walk, don’t make it obvious that you are in a hurry, if you try to run they will know you are stealing. Don’t lift with lots of bags, I personally like to lift with a small backpack but you do you, if you need to lift with a big bag, that’s fine, just don’t walk in the store with a huge bag and then walk out with it even fuller, they will see that it’s fuller and they will stop you. Don’t draw attention to yourself, if you lift something and an employee sees you, don’t make a big deal out of it, they could just take the item off you and let you go, you need to be calm and just let them take the item off you and then you can just walk out, you could also pretend you don’t speak the language they speak, you could pretend you don’t understand what they are saying and then just walk away and leave the item, or you could try to run but I don’t recommend that.

So those are my top 5 tips, these tips may or may not work for you, I’ve been lifting for a while now so I know what I am doing, I just wanted to share my tips in case anyone wanted to know.
