Last night, I had to do my work twice because of a glitch in the matrix

It was a long night at work last night.

I had to type the same sentence 30 different times to create new sentences. I was starting to go insane as different variations of the same sentence started to play over and over in my head.

Finally, I had finished. I had typed the sentence 30 different ways. A nice little stack of paper with 30 new sentences. I put the paper down on the side of the desk and stood back to admire my handiwork.

Then I blinked.

When my eyes opened, I was confused. The stack of paper was gone from my desk. I looked around my office, trying to see where I had moved it. But the nice little stack of paper was gone.

I was confused. I had just finished typing the sentences. I was going to put them in a box, and then I had blinked. I looked around, trying to see where I moved the sentences, but they were gone.

I asked my coworker if they had moved my box of sentences. They said they didn't see it. I thought maybe it had fallen behind the desk. But when I looked, it wasn't there.

I was confused and annoyed. I had just spent an hour typing the sentences, and now they were gone. I looked at my computer to see if I had saved the sentences to my desktop. But they weren't there.

I thought maybe I had moved the sentences to a different part of my office. I looked around, but they weren't there. I asked my coworker again if they had moved the sentences. They said they didn't see them.

I was getting annoyed. I had spent an hour typing the sentences, and now they were gone. I looked at my computer again to see if I had saved the sentences. But they weren't there.

It was time to just start over. So I sat back down at my desk and started to type the sentences again. A few minutes later, my coworker said, "don't you remember, you were talking to me, and you had the paper in your hand, and then you dropped it. All of the paper went flying."

I didn't remember that. I didn't remember talking to her or dropping the paper. It was as if the last hour didn't exist.

So I spent the rest of the night, picking up the paper and re-typing the sentences. I wish I could say this was the first time this has happened to me. But it's not.

It seems to happen to me a lot. I will do something, and then I will forget that I did it. I will have to do it all over again.

I don't know if it's a glitch in the matrix, or just a side effect of getting older. But it seems to happen to me a lot.

Has this ever happened to you?
