A group of wizards are growing tired of historians getting their country’s history wrong

One by one the dozen or so wizards standing in the grand hall of their Council building approached a large table in the center. The table held a large trunk on it. The group had been called here, for an important mission, one that would allow historians to learn about the accomplishments of this country and the feats that had been performed by the thousands, possibly even millions of wizards and witches that had lived here and elsewhere in the world. <br><br>As of now, everyone’s past was lost to anyone but the ones who had lived at the time. Pictures were long gone, books were destroyed, stories were lost to the ages. this country was thousands of years old after all. <br><br>However, these wizards had now figured out a way to preserve the past after it had been lost. <br><br>Using an item in the trunk in the center of the room, they were able to create this item in the historians past after they were gone. The catch, as explained by the speaker standing in the center of the room on a table at the far end of the hall, was that the item had to be created in a person in the historians past that the historians would believe this item would have been given to them. <br><br>The speaker explained that the item works by changing the course of events in the past historians life by changing the course of events in the person this item is given to, which would then inevitably cause the item to pass through the course of history and end up in the historians hands. <br><br>As he had explained before, the item was a small wooden box made of a wood that was not even from this world. The box was able to store anything. What ever you wrote on a piece of paper and placed in the box would be turned into a real item. The item could be anything that you could imagine, as long as you could write it down on one sheet of paper. The magic had already been put on the boxes, all this group had to do was choose the person in the past they would give the box too. <br><br>One by one the wizards each approached the table in the center of the room and placed their hand on the trunk. Pictures and visions flooded through their minds as the trunk showed them the multiple paths their life could take and the results in the future of the different paths historians this country had would take. <br><br>Each and everyone one of the thousands of different paths led to one historians this country had, in one decade historians would be writing papers and books on the wars this country had fought, including the wars with other countries and the wars fought on this country’s own soil. In another decade historians would write about this countries accomplishments in the field of magic, how they were able to preserve their forests and natural lands for thousands of years, and their accomplishments in human rights. <br><br>In another decade the historians would write about the Council and how it was formed and all of the members and what they had accomplished. <br><br>The speaker standing on the table in the center of the room moved to the side as a person approached. They stood on the edge of the table next to the speaker, looking over the crowd below them. <br><br>A few of the wizards standing in the hall had already made their decision. They had already placed their hands on the trunks in front of them and were now walking towards the exit of the Council building, ready to start their missions. <br><br>The historians this country had were the finest in the world. They were this countries greatest export, historians from this country were hired by countries all over the world to document their history and preserve their past. <br><br>This country had been able to preserve its forests for the entire length of time it had been around, with multiple different species of plants and animals. <br><br>The Council had been an important part of the country, the thousands of members of the Council had been able to accomplish many tasks of importance. The Council had started as a group of the strongest wizards and witches this country had. <br><br>They were the finest group of historians in the world. <br><br>The finest export historians had, were historians. <br><br>The strongest group of wizards and witches in the world was the Council. <br><br>This group of wizards standing in this hall were going to make sure their countries history was known.
