Has anyone seen a massive drop in bugs ?

I had a terrible issue with bugs last year , but I have barely seen any this year . Still a few but nothing like last year. Any thoughts as to why they might have left?<br><br>Final thought , should I get a cat? I know this is completely off topic but I am really bored of being alone and I think they’d be a great companion.
