Hay fever is no big deal and people exaggerate it for sympathy and attention

My hay fever is acting up right now and I’m feeling like shit. But I’m not acting like the world is ending and I’m dying. Anyone who has real allergies understands this.<br><br>Hay fever is symptoms are just annoying as all hell but it’s no big deal. Stop acting like the pollen is going to end your life.<br><br>Hay fever symptoms<br><br>1. sneezing and coughing<br>2. a runny or itchy nose<br>3. itchy, red or watery eyes<br>4. postnasal drip (mucus running down the back of your throat)<br>5. itchy throat or inside the ears<br>6. dark circles under the eyes (called allergic shiners)<br><br>No, this isn’t fun at all, but it’s not taking anything away from people who have real allergies that are much more severe than hay fever symptoms.<br><br>I’m sick of seeing people talk about how hay fever is killing them and acting like they can’t function because of it when they’re completely fine and it’s not a big deal for them at all.
