What's your favorite go-to homework excuse?

I've taught high school for over 20 years, and I've seen it all on what kids say to avoid having a homework zero.<br><br>The most recent one this week was: "Oh, my brother REALLY needed my binder for a presentation, and I didn't have time to go buy a new one. It's at my grandma's house, and my parents refused to drive me there to get it because they said I should have thought of that this morning."<br><br>How many of you have heard this one?
