One of the most fulfilling experiences of my life happened at a bus stop

One day i was on my (1 hour and a half) commute home from work. I usually don’t bring snacks since its 3pm and i can tough it out at home until dinner. <br><br>I was at a bus stop near my home and it was only about a 10 minute walk to the house. I was hungry and it hit me that i had about 50 cents in change. <br><br>There is a corner store right at the bus stop and they sell those (small single serving bags of potato chips) for 50 cents. I went in and bought one. <br><br>It was so satisfying to have that one serving bag of chips to munch on while i walked home. It think it was partly because i was so hungry that it tasted good but also because i really earned it. <br><br>I was thinking about budgeting and life choices and the fact that it only costed 50 cents and it made me think about the idea of minimum wage and if you work a whole (8 hour day) you go home and maybe earn yourself a bag of chips.
