Is anyone ever gonna take me out?

I feel like I’m the last person on the earth to have never been taken out by someone else. Like I’ve been on lots of dates but it’s always “oh, do you wanna come round mine?” Or “oh I’ve gotta pick up food in an hour, want me to pick you up to get food?” And then maybe the odd casual drink or a coffee. But like….never has a man come to my door like “oh you look lovely, and I made reservations at this place, and got you these flowers, let’s go out” even a trip to a museum or something I’ve always gotta plan. <br><br>It’s a really really really embarrassing thing. It’s not that I’ve never met a nice man. I’ve even been in a serious relationship. But it’s just something that’s never happened. It’s a really embarrassing thing, and it makes me feel like a dog.<br><br>Even some of my friends that I knew even before our dating lives had begun, they got taken out from the early days.
