Vishnu sahasranama a starting point for hinduism.

I've been starting to read up on Hinduism and the gods such as Krishna. Everything makes sense and makes me want to look into it more. I am very unfamiliar with Hinduism and don't even know where to begin.<br><br>I tried to find a starting point and came across a book called "Vishnu sahasranama". I'm still trying to read it but wanted to ask if anyone has read this book before and what it meant to you. <br><br>It seems like there are many different interpretations of it but I'm not sure what to make of it.<br><br>If you could give a quick rundown that you got from the book, that would be awesome.
