What has been happening to 4chan?

I feel like I'm coming back to home I had once abandoned, only to find out that it had been burglarized, burned, and pretty much torched by a violent schizophrenic who hates everything that existed in said home. <br><br>4chan has been becoming more and more defunct since I left, by the end of Trump's presidency I would just grab my 3 favorite boards (/p/, /a/, /gd/) and just lurk on them for 4-9 hours a day. I'd never go to /pol/ because I don't give a shit about politics and its always been more like "/shitpol/" to me. I stopped going to /gd/ and /a/ when I noticed that half of the posts were about suicide, taking drugs or just generally shitting on /g/ and /a/. It was like some /pol/ based fuckers came in and just shitted on pretty much everything on the entire site. From /c/ to pretty much all of the boards that were once enjoyable just turned into some sort of based /pol/ base, which is pretty fucking sad.
