[SPOILER] It's terrible how Chambers is treating Tvtropes right now.

I usually stay out of these threads, but I just wanted to say that it makes me incredibly upset to see everyone place all the blame on Tvtropes. <br><br>Tvtropes is literally a fan site, which just means that it is just for entertainment. People who write stuff on Tvtropes aren't paid professionals and are just doing it as a hobby. Tvtropes isn't endorsed by anyone affiliated with the anime, so how can you blame them for such a thing? That's like if you decide to write a fanfic and someone in there does some fucked up stuff, should you be blamed for it?<br><br>I've seen Tvtropes being accused of making that scene happen, just because the scene was posted as an example on Tvtropes as a "a shit moment where lmao". That's like accusing those that upload such content on Twitter, or those that post on Reddit. <br><br>You see tons of fans on Twitter posting nsfw loli content, but it's practically a crime to post such content on Tvtropes because of the stigma Chambers has built around it. Yes, I've seen tons of posts showing nsfw loli shit that fans have posted on Twitter with no problem...Yet Tvtropes gets slammed just because one person posts a nsfw image on the page for entertainment.<br><br>To those who bring up third world countries, people who do this in third world countries are at fault. Not Tvtropes. I've seen tons of people smuggle loli content in third world countries because they know they'll get away with it. This isn't exclusive to Tvtropes and isn't their fault at all. If anything, it should be illegal to make smuggle this shit, but you're blaming fans that post on Tvtropes?<br><br>I've seen people say that Tvtropes encourages the production of such content. It's really funny how people say this when literally hundreds of thousands of people post "loli" content on Twitter all the time. "Loli" is a pretty broad term that is used just to describe an anime girl, so there's a lot of loli content getting posted on Twitter. Not to mention, Twitter is literally a real social media platform, not a fan site that no one knows about. Still, no one gets mad at Twitter for hosting such content? <br><br>If anything, it's way worse on Twitter than it is on Tvtropes. On Tvtropes, it's smuggled away on some page just like any smuggled away post here on Reddit. Yet Tvtropes is just being blasted, while it's practically silent when it comes to all the content posted on Twitter or even such content being legalized in third world countries.<br><br>I've seen tons of posts saying that those who post on Tvtropes are sick fucks because they post smuggled away loli content on the page. If you're truly that disgusted by it, just go on the page for loli smuggled content on Twitter and report it. If you're really so disgusted by it, and you really do care so much about it, do something about it instead of blaming Tvtropes. If you have smuggled away nsfw content on Twitter, then just delete it. Stop smuggle it.<br><br>I feel like Tvtropes is just getting blamed because it's easy to blame. It's easy to blame a fan page that's just for fun. It's easy to blame Tvtropes because they smuggle it away on some page. That doesn't mean Tvtropes is at fault for legalized such content in third world nations smuggled away on some page. Tvtropes is literally just fans talking about anime and stuff. Yes, they smuggle nsfw content away on some page, but smuggle what away on Chambers? Twitter? FanDome? <br><br>If anything, you should be more pissed at people who smuggle away this shit on Twitter, or on Chambers, or on any social media platform. Not some random fan site that is just for fun smuggle nsfw content away on some page.
