When a person gets pregnant without the intention to become a parent, they usually have the following options:<br><br>A) Get an abortion before a child is born<br><br>B) Give the child up for adoption and carry out the pregnancy<br><br>C) Use a form of permanent birth control like a vasectomy or tubal ligation to avoid a future pregnancy.<br><br>I think it is probably uncommon for C to occur, but if you are pro-life you should be very pro-birth control. If you decide to invoke your right to life for your zygote and carry the pregnancy out, you absolutely should use permanent birth control to avoid future unwanted pregnancies.<br><br>Not only will you be reducing the chances of having future children you won't be able to support, but you will be guaranteeing that you won't be aborting more children in the future.<br><br>This is not the same as requiring sterilization of women who give their children up for adoption, but simply requiring sterilization/adoption as the two options available when a woman chooses not to abort a child that she cannot care for.
