My dad saved me...

This is my first post, and I believe it should fall into this category, so enjoy. I’ll make sure to keep this concise, as I have a tendency to ramble.<br><br>When I was 8, my dad and mom took me camping. This was my first camping trip, and I was very excited. I had never seen anything like it before. I remember the feeling of the gravel under my sandals as we walked in, and this is one of the few things that I remember very vividly.<br><br>We set up our tent and we decided to go to the nearby lake. My dad had bought me a pink raft, that I was very excited to try out. As we were floating I felt a slight grab on my leg. The water was very murky, and all I could really see was the outline of my dad and my mom. I panicked and said my father’s name. I hear him say “Your fine baby, you’re safe.” And then, out of the lake came my dad’s hand and arm, holding me out of the lake. I didn’t really understand what had just happened until he said I was almost gone, until he saved me.<br><br>Later on that night, I woke to one of the most horrific sounds, my dad screaming and vomiting. He told me that he had looked into the water and saw a face staring at him. I still don’t believe it was just a hallucination and I can’t explain as to why he saw a face, but what I do know is my dad saved my life.<br><br>Your never really left alone, your always being watched. <br><br> EDIT: Oh my god, I didn’t expect this to go this far. I really haven’t written in this app for so long, and to have my story make it this far is kind of surreal. Thank you everyone.
