I’ve been a member of this Subreddit for 10 years or so, usually just lurks, and I totally get the vibe shift of being judgemental on people for spending money.

It’s not cool, everyone gets it.

However, I remembered why I got on this Subreddit in the first place, it’s a really good resource on finding ways to save money and find frugal alternatives to expensive things.

I’m not particularly frugal, but I think there’s a great difference between being frugal and being preventative.

$5 can be spent on a pack of instant ramen from the gas station, or you could buy 10 pounds of rice for $5 at your local grocery store.

The Subreddit has shifted into judging people for spending money. It’s not cool.

If you want to go to Starbucks and get a coffee, that’s your decision, not mine.

But if you want to learn how to make a better cup of coffee at home, ask. I’d be more than happy to show you how.
