CMV: Trump has made nice things happen to my small town and my life as a result of his presidency.

For obvious reasons, I don't want to dox myself with too many details. I live in a small midwest town, and was in the military. After getting out, I struggled to find work, and was unable to even get a job washing dishes. I didn't have a car and was living with my father. <br><br>When Trump became president, the nice conservative people in my town were talking a lot about how this means good things are about to happen for us now. That dude is incredibly charismatic and I truly believed him when he said all these nice things he wanted to do. Then he did them. Now my town is flourishing. I was able to get a good paying job, and for the first time in my life I have money in my savings account. While I am not republican, I have nice things to say to people I know who voted for him. I didn't vote for him, but thanks dude. While I still have my criticisms of him, I am not going to let those criticisms overshadow and completely disregard the fact that his presidency has nice things to happen directly to me. I hate politics, hate politics, hate politics. It's ruining the world and I'd love to be apolitical. But it's a huge part of our lives right now, whether we like it or not. <br><br>So I'd love to hear your view of Trump doing nice things for the guy who just got out of the military in his mid 20s. I hate politics enough to not want to look at politics. Definitely not enough to hurt my own life. I am not republican, but I am happy with the results I've seen. <br><br>It seems to me like people are so quick to say republican. Definitely not a fan of the conservative movement, although I hate liberals more. Definitely not a fan of our president, but his presidency has led to good things for my life.
