If you are lonely, please know a couple of things

Today I got a message from a 45 yo guy in my country asking me if I wanted to have a cup of coffee with him. It was a bit out of the blue since I didn't talk to him for more than 10 days. I asked him what is it about, and he said he really liked talking to me, he felt lonely since the death of his mom and he felt like he can identify with me a lot since he is an introvert himself. I thanked him a lot but I said maybe we could talk but no need for coffee, I don't drink it anyway. He said we could have some juice then. I explained to him that I am a loner and I can't go out with people. I told him I really appreciate his offer but I'm a loner. <br><br>I said I would continue to talk to him and I feel so happy that I met him and I really feel like he's a very nice person and I'm really grateful. <br><br>I don't know what happened to this guy in his life for him to reach out to a stranger, but I'm glad I was there and now I can talk to him using this app, and I feel really happy I met him.<br><br>So to people who feel lonely, don't give up, maybe you don't need a partner, maybe just a good friend who understands you and you can talk about anything you want to him. It doesn't matter in what circumstances you met, you can still be good friends and appreciate what you have. <br><br>To the person who messaged me, I'm sorry again for the disappointment, I'm really glad that I met you :)
