I think that this chamber has gone too far.

I say that because I found myself agreeing with some of the content here. But I want to make it extremely clear - I do not agree with this chamber overall. <br><br>I say this because I am a proud, self-identifying communist. Not a socialist or a progressive or a liberal - a communist. I believe that the rightful destiny of the human race is a classless, stateless society where there is no discrimination based on race, sex, sexual orientation, gender, or religion.<br><br>But I don't want to talk about that. What I want to talk about is the fact that every piece of criticism that is directed towards our ideology (even when it's justified) is met with the most vitriolic, hateful commentary from our detractors. People treat us like heretics - like we're demonic creatures from the depths of hell that need to be vanquished from this earth. <br><br>And I want to make it extremely clear - that is not okay. When we communists argue, we argue with facts, with evidence, with data, with quotes of our leaders, and with logic and reason. But you people just spout off your talking points - be it that "they will kill your family", "they will oppress you", "they will take your money", "they will force you to go to church", or a variety of other similiar lines. <br><br>I don't know if it's a deep insecurity from knowing your beliefs are massively inferior, or if you are just doing it on purpose to avoid actually having to defend your beliefs. <br><br>But what I do know is that your behavior is taking a terrible toll on us. You are attacking our communities with your lies and smears, attacking our leaders, our children, our elderly, and our towns. You are doing everything in your power to cause the system to crack down on us and kill us - and you do it with a smile on your face.<br><br>And I won't stand for it. I am a proud communist, and I will never back down from your hateful rhetoric. But I will say this - your behavior is causing many people to lose their faith in our ideology. I don't know if that's your intention, or if it's just a side effect of your actions. But I do know that you need to stop.<br><br>So please, just stop. <br><br>&#x200B;
