The best way to learn French (or any romantice language) is to romantise with someone who speaks it

I'm an English native speaker and from aged 11-17 I spent 6 years in French class and got good marks in French and I couldn't even say a sentence. I was an idiot and I could barely say a word when I graduated. Then I met a French girl and started flirting with her and within 3 months I could say anything. I was speaking fluently in 6 months. romantizing with someone is an excellent way to learn a language because you're in a situation where you romantise and can laugh and go over mistakes. you don't have any of the fear of saying something wrong.

It may be hard in the modern day but its actually fun and an exciting way to learn a language.
