CMV: We should be preparing for a Russia - China war as much as we are a China - US war

I'm no expert on geopolitics - I could be wrong and I'd love to be corrected.<br><br>I believe that Russia and China - while currently having a mutually beneficial relationship - are not truly allies, and at their core are on opposite ends of so many issues.<br><br>When the US and Europe inevitably roll back sanctions on Russia after the Ukraine war, Russia will gain more economic leverage to sever ties with China.<br><br>One of China's biggest goals is to become a global leader both economically and militarily - Russia will be unwilling to give up their position as a nuclear and military powerhouse.<br><br>China has long wished to gain access to the Russian Far east, a strategically located region which would allow China to gain its first naval base in the ocean. Russia will never agree to this.<br><br>Russia will inevitably be forced to ally with the US and India as a result of these pressures.<br><br>I consider this as likely as the US and China going to war over Taiwan - if not more likely.<br><br>Feel free to change my view
