Obama just posted an Instagram post saying the best way to protest is to vote

Obviously this is a push to direct energy and frustration from the riots into voting in the next election cycle. I hope people can see through this and understand that voting doesn't change anything this this country. <br>I'm really concerned that people are going to think that voting is the answer to all the violence this country is plagued with and we're all going to end up with MLK's dream; <br>"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." <br>Martin Luther king was a great man, but it's clear there really isn't such thing as the content of character. Everybody is this country is judged on the color of their skin and your character is irrelevant.<br><br>The real way to protest is to turn your back on the government and big corporations. Don't buy into the system and don't rely on these entities for necessities. <br><br>If you buy what they sell, you're gonna have to sell what they buy.
