Why do people list things they purchased on here?

First of all I love this sub<br><br>But every time I see a post like “I just got this and this and this, I’ve been looking for this amazing minimalist item for so long” and it’s like a list of things purchased.<br><br>I see this post every single day. I’ve just stopped looking at them, it’s not very minimalist to me. It’s minimal list on a minimalism sub. <br><br>Ah I don’t know, it just goes against my personal idea of what being a minimalist is and it makes me sad to see so many people on here buying more stuff saying it’s “for minimalism.”
