Some of you are doing your job wrong

Your job is not to tutor. Your job is not to babysit. Your job is to teach, and then test your students to see if they comprehended the material you gave to them. Your job is not to constantly reteach the same material over and over again, that is not teaching.<br><br>If a student fails a test, they earn a summer school slot. It is not the teachers job to reteach all the material again during summer school. A student who fails should get extra work to do during summer school, maybe some extra tutoring, but not a re-taught course. If a student comes to your class and hasn’t grasped the material they are supposed to know before entering your class, it is not your job to teach them all that material over again.<br><br>I would also like to point out to the students that if you fail a test, you should probably pay closer attention in class. It is YOUR JOB TO PAY ATTENTION. Every student sooner or later will have an instructor who doesn’t cater to their needs, and you need to learn how to adapt.
