CMV: Right wing politicians are very good at highjacking Left wing movements

So I've noticed a theme throughout history where right wing politicians will highjack a left wing movement. Here are a few examples: <br><br>1. The US's Greatest Generation fighting for freedom and democracy. <br>This was a great movement with women gaining the right to vote and black civil rights, and it saw Americans defending small democratic nations against fascist and communist ideology. Right wingers highjacked this by associating patriotism with Conservatism to validate their ideology. Greatest Generation = Right wingers. Right wingers are patriots = Greatest Generation. <br><br>2. The civil rights movement <br>Politicians like George Wallace highjacked this movement by claiming that they were fighting to give the Right of States to have segregation be legal. It was highly unethical, highjacking a movement that was actually fighting for equality and respect for blacks by claiming that they wanted to give the Right of States to discriminate. <br><br>3. Women's Suffrage <br>Today Conservatives like Candace Owens are highjacking the Women's Suffrage movement to make anti-feminism be a legitimate stance. Women's Suffrage demanded women's Right to vote, but highjacking this movement is saying anti-feminism has the Right to protest. <br><br>Chambers, can you CMV?
