Stop referring to your travel trip as a ‘once in a lifetime’ trip.

I watch a lot of travel vlogs and read long posts on travel blogs, and people always finish their posts off with ‘it was a once in a lifetime trip’ or ‘thankful to have gone on this trip of a lifetime’. I’m tired of seeing this phrase thrown in at the end of every travel blog post/vlog to make it sound like a more exciting experience than it actually was.

I agree that people should embrace their experiences, and be grateful for the experiences lived, but you need to stop referring to your trip to Santorini as a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience. As if you’ll never have the chance to go back there.

It’s just another travel trip that you decided to take. Stop exaggerating by saying it was a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience!!!
