The anti-AI movement is not at this point being over run by so called "(ai apologists")

I have noticed a trend in the recent days within all the "anti-ai" chambers to attack, shame, and abuse those who do not hold the same extreme views that certain factions of our communities do. They prey on all the real reasons that you may have for being against AI. You may be pro-AI but against its abuse. You may think it's worth at least experimenting with to see if the all in approach is worth it.

The way that AI has been implemented into our world has been terrible. It has hurt and continues to hurt real people. These people have every right to want AI gone and to be against it. You likely wouldn't blame people for being anti-war if they or their loved one was killed in war time.

I am not here to shame or belittle anyone who is anti-AI. I am looking to support everyone as we move into the future.

The all in approach that corporations and other entities have taken with AI is the real enemy here. AI is just a tool. It can be a great tool that saves lives, creates art that we have never seen before, and positively enhances the lives of millions. AI can also be used as a tool to abuse and hurt millions of people.

What is at fault here is not the tool, it is all the people using this tool to hurt people. It is everyone's fault that we let these entities do this to us the way they did. You can't judge everyone just on the actions of a couple of people who are the real enemy here.

I do not hate AI. I do however hate the people who are abusing this tool to exploit and hurt good people.

If we as the so called "anti-ai" movement keep pushing away the people who are just passionately interested in the tech itself all we will be left with is people who hate and fear AI. Let's combat the real issue, at the people abusing the tool, and get the tech to the right people.
