i am a former 4chan user. I have a few questions.

But before I ask my questions, a little context. I started on 4chan back in 2005. I remember being on /b/ and seeing the "We are in Cintrol" shit, W.T Snacks, Chocolate Rain, ect. I remember when 4chan would have 2k-5k users online at once. I left in 2008 and came back briefly in 2010. During that time I noticed the influx of "trolls" but I still saw a lot of the old guard and the quality of the boards was still decent. I came back in 2012, expecting to see the same old place I used to love only to find that it was full of "trolls", no one in the boards ever participated in anything. Then I learn who "moot" is (who the fuck is this wierdo "moot" and why is everyone worshiping him?). Then I learn about the "Anonymous" movement which I never remember being on 4chan. I left in 2012 and never came back. I now remember why.<br><br>So I have a few questions to see if the "old days" are ever coming back and if this place will ever be what it was back in the day. And I would prefer no troll answers because I remember how the "trolls" ruined 4chan and would like to hear some honest answers from older users.<br><br>1. I hope "moot" is dead because that guy seemed to really bring a lot of the "trolls" in. Is he gone?<br><br>2. With the whole "Anonymous" movement going away, do you think that will bring the trolls out in droves?<br><br>3. Does the influx of new users help to weed out "trolls" from the site?
