Am I a bad writer?

Am i a bad writer? <br><br>I haven’t written in 5 years and I’m trying to get into again. I used to write a lot, all the time. I was pretty good at it to. I’m now 29 and haven’t written a single thing since I was 24. <br><br>I’ve decided “fuck it why not, it’s great exercise for my mind and I can waste my time doing a lot worse things”. <br><br>I’m back on wattpad again, sprucing up my 5 year dead account. I’ve decided “once a chapter a day no matter what, even if it’s shit.” <br><br>This is a fan fiction story. <br><br>I’m shit scared its utter most garbage. <br><br>I’ve never in five years had a single word enter my brain until two weeks ago. <br><br>My brain is barren and empty as a field. <br><br>I’m scared also my writing ability is like a muscle that hasn’t been used in five years, it’s not exercised and i don’t know if it will ever be the same again. <br><br>I’ve been looking at my previous work and I’m pretty certain that this new chapters I’m producing now is absolute utter garbage in comparison. <br><br>Like before five years ago I could produce a 2k word chapter in 30 minutes tops. <br><br>Now i struggle to get even 2k words in one day. <br><br>I’ve also started to fear that my writing “voice” also known as my writing style has completely changed. <br><br>I think it’s because I’ve read so much fan fiction in the last 5 years and others writing styles have started to influence me. <br><br>I’ve read a lot of good writing and fan fiction. <br><br>I’m wondering if my skill has been completely eradicated? <br><br>Am I a bad writer now?
