This movie sucked.

I just finished watching Hairspray and I gotta say, this movie sucked. Tracy Turnblad is the main character, Hairspray is the title, and she gets shrugged aside for like 45 minutes to go on a movie long tangent for some random chick with no connection to our main character, let alone the overall plot, and we get this long unnecessary musical number about how black people don't have rights. Not a single fuck was given, let alone a damn, by anyone in the movie, and we're shrugged aside for this and these other random musical numbers that add nothing to the story.
