I might have been "psyoped" by the AI scaremongers.

I'm a 23 year old recent CS grad, and have been eager to delve into software development, but extensively watching "the AI doomsday" videos, reading articles, watching "the AI might take our jobs", "you will lose your job to AI in 2 to 5 years" articles, consumed me big time. I was extensively into Open Source AI models, but to be honest, I felt "You're re-inventing the wheel" every time I worked extensively in some projects. I mean, I've always been into "NLP", and always wanted to work on "Chatbots", and I had extensively worked on GPT3 and Claude2. But Everytime I was "Romeo, I can't do this as I'm extensively into Chatbots", now I'm into AI Safety. (Which is a recent domain of research). I've worked big time on these projects, and reading extensively about the risks of AI, I've felt "Hell, we're gonna lose our jobs in 4 to 5 years". I mean I've always left my projects as there have been enough amount of fear in me from a long time, that might have extensively hindered my growth in a career as a software developer. I mean, how might I improve on this extensively? How might I focus on these issues?
