AITA for not leaving the house of someone who asked me to leave because I wanted to give them a chance to get themselves together before I left with their child?

Im a 22 year old father to a four year old. My daughters mom is my ex girlfriend. <br><br>We live in a really bad area. Gunshots are heard on a daily basis from my moms house and I want to get my daughter and I out of this dangerous neighborhood. <br><br>My ex girlfriend is doing little to help me. I pay her rent, give her money to do things for herself, and pay for her car insurance. But, I also make sure our daughter is well taken care of. Her needs come before my ex girlfriends wants. <br><br>This morning I cried at work. I got a call from my ex girlfriend saying my daughter kept crying and asking for me. She was sick and wanted me. <br><br>Im a single parent doing the best I can. But my ex girlfriend takes advantage of me. She's always telling me to do things for her, buying her fast food, etc. She doesn't take care of our child the way she should. <br><br>I asked her a little over a week ago to pack our daughters things. <br><br>Tonight my friend and I went to pick up my daughter. My ex girlfriend was drunk. She was in her pajamas. She told me she didn't pack anything for our daughter. She told me to leave. <br><br>She's drunk. Our daughter is sick. Our daughter asked for me. I told my ex to sleep it off. I'll give her the night to pack our daughters things and get herself together. She got mad and told me to leave. <br><br>I've been sitting on our porch with my friend for hours. It's cold. <br><br>AITA?
