I was almost kidnapped by a man in a bush

This happened a few years ago to my friend and I while I was on vacation in California.<br><br>We were hanging out in a park when I had to use the restroom. There was a public bathroom on the other end of the park from us. While walking, I noticed a man literally hiding behind a bush half way between the parking lot and restrooms. I just thought he was coked out after witnessing the other disasters that happen around that park so I just kept on my way.<br><br>As I was walking out of the ladies room, the same man out of nowhere said “yeahhh” and said something about how I was “fine” while he was standing right next to me. I said “yeahhh” back awkwardly and kept walking towards my friend. He said “hey” again and out of awkwardness I replied “hey again”.... <br><br>I walked about 5 more feet towards my friend when out of nowhere, he grabbed me by the arms and said “I’m not gonna hurt you” while he had me in a choke hold. I said “what, what is happening?” When a voice said “let her go”. It was my friend, with tears in her eyes. <br><br>The man let me go and started walking away super fast out of the park. We ran to the nearest convenience store and called the police and they never caught the guy. <br><br>So creepy dude that was hiding in a bush that day, let’s not meet again.
