CMV: The best possible move for the US is to have Trump win.

Here's my reasoning: Trump is so obviously a terrible president, and the US system of laws is not equipped to handle him. The best possible thing that can happen is for him to win the election, then for the house or congress to grow some balls and force him to resign.

I would love to see Pence take over and stuff, but he's not a lot better, and I don't think the US is equipped to handle him either.

If Trump loses, we'll see four years of the GOP saying that Biden is the devil incarnate and they won't do anything to help him, and we'll be in the same sinking position but with no chance of getting the president impeached.

Biden is not a terrible president; he's just really boring. And he's probably the best we can expect for the next four years. If he wins, he'll be treated really badly, and they won't do anything to help him. However, unlike Trump or Pence, Biden knows how to handle a bad situation; he'll be able to run things well enough that the average American will not notice that he is not getting any help.

However, if he resigns (or is forced to), then Kamala would be president. The best person she could have in her corner is Bernie Sanders. By letting Trump win, we also get the Democratic Senate, which Bernie will take full advantage of. He's been talking about the system not working for many years, and I really do believe that he has the guts to bring about radical change.

If Trump loses, we'll probably see a Republican Senate, which would make Kamala the first woman president to accomplish nothing.
